As part of the company’s vibrant business development team, this role is expected to expand our customer base to secure new business as well as identifying potential business opportunities from existing customers.

RESPONSIBILITIES

(Key tasks the job holder is expected to perform as well key stakeholders)

Identify prospects to secure new business deals – this may include cold calling, customer visits,lead generation, competitive analysis, coordination of presentations and proposals, and any follow up activity to close the deal

Actively seeking potential new opportunities from current/new customers, by working independently as well as closely with Digicor account managers

Utilize and incorporate partner relationships to enhance/supplement industry and offerings knowledge, and develop plans/presentations as needed to close deals.

Ensure timely and proper follow-up for all assigned leads and ongoing quotes, projects and general business.

Use CRM system to manage Sales process and develop pipeline of opportunities

Working together with Digicor account managers and assistant sales representatives to position / develop Digicor solutions to the customers

Extensive level of industry acumen; keeps current with trends and able to converse with client on issues and challenges at multiple levels of customer management

Demonstrates strong communications skills with IT managers, as well as C-level executives

Achieving necessary industry certificates arranged by Sales Manager and any other training as suggested or instructed.

Attend necessary seminars, trade shows and or industry events by your own initiative, with approval, or as suggested or instructed

    QUALIFICATIONS

Education and Experience Required:

Bachelor’s degree in Science or Engineeringpreferred

Typically minimum 3-4 years’ experience in the Australian market in technical consultative selling and solution sales experience in IT industry

A successful demonstrated career transition from other related industries, working as a client facing technical sales role, might also be considered

Knowledge and Skills Required:

Strong team player yet able to work independently

Demonstrate driving ability to influence & work cross-functionally

Excellent customer relationship skills; able to communicate to all levels to establish and maintain stability and credibility with customers.

Aggressive at pursuing opportunities and work under pressure

Excellent oral and written communication skills

Knowledge of Digicor service portfolio

Experience with CRM is a value-add, yet not a must

Quick learner and Result-driven
